Fukuoka Women’s University WJC Program


aku pengeeeeeen banget dapet beasiswa ini, moga-moga beasiswa ini berlaku sampai lima tahun kedepan.. amin :D

Fukuoka Women’s University is offering a short-term study abroad program focusing on traditional and contemporary Japanese culture from April, 2011 to March, 2012. The students can participate in the program for either 1 semester (starting April OR October, 2011) or 1 year (starting April, 2011)
During the first semester(April – September 2011), the program will be focusing on Japanese Traditional Culture, and in the second period (October, 2011 – March, 2012) it will be focusing on Japanese Contemporary Culture.
The students participating only in the first semester can select a Japanese contemporary culture topic as their Independent Study Project. Likewise, the students participating only in the second semester are allowed to choose a Japanese traditional culture based theme as their Independent Study Project.
The program is to commemorate the reform of Fukuoka Women’s University into a globalized university. The program will grant participants from partner universities a scholarship. Based on each university’s exchange agreement, 20 or 25 students will be selected as the participants. Only female students are eligible for WJC.

Scholarship Details

  1. Amount of Scholarship 100.000 yen / month
  2. Duration of Scholarship either 1 year (April 2011 – March 2012) or 6 months (starting April -2011)
  3. Reimbursement of air fare (round trip) up to 100.000 yen
  4. Accommodation at student dormitory

Eligible Students

  1. Female undergraduate students from all faculty, UGM
  2. Minimum TOEFL 500
  3. Cumulative GPA 3.0 from 4.0

  3. Academic Records
  4. Recommendation letters (two academic advisors)
  5. TOEFL Score
  6. Surat Pencalonan Dekan

Documents Submission

Submit two copies of your documents to Office of International Affairs no later than January 24, 2011
